The area traditionally known as the Chilean Patagonia is a region formed by glaciers and stretches from the Reloncaví estuary to Tierra del Fuego. This land of contrast is formed by glaciers, mountains, fiords, islands, rivers, and is a natural spectacle beyond compare.

  The Patagonia has important climatic variation mainly due to the ocean’s tides and the wind. On the eastern side of the Patagonian Cordillera there is a cold climate that predominates in the mid continental area. There is an average annual rain fall of 2800mm.

This area is one of constant wind, reaching in summer an average of 30 to 40kms per hour.
